Learning Objectives:
By the end of this orientation, you will:
- Know who and where to go to when you need help
- Be introduced to databases and platforms as places to find research and clinical literature (EBP)
- Create accounts to efficiently use the databases

I. Account Creation: These accounts are essential to the work you will find and do in this program.
- Iliad- Interlibrary Loan (ILL) account to request materials that we do not provide instant access
- Scopus- the LARGEST database!! Start here
- NCBI/PubMed -Health Science Database; most popular
- EBSCOHost Platform of databases which includes- CINAHL and PsycINFO
- EndNote Desktop App /Online - citation manager (optional and useful)
- Browzine - Browse journals
Other useful tools:
- LibKeyNomad- browser extension to give you PDFs quickly
- EndNote Click- Quick access to PDFs AND adds to citation manager
- OneNote with web clipper- a great way to create and /or save everything digitally (web clipper is a browser extension)
