The Waring currently offers the following services to departments across MUSC and to its patrons: photocopy and on-demand high resolution scanning of materials of the Waring's manuscript collections and the MUSC University Archives, as well as research.
For non-MUSC departmental requests, fees for the Waring's services are as follows:
- Photocopies: 11 or more pages at $0.50 per page. There is no charge for requests under 11 pages.
- High resolution scans: Available for items up to 18 in x 14 in. $5 per scan for requests under 30 minutes of staff time. $50 per hour for high resolution scanning services requiring over 30 minutes of staff time.
- Research services: $50 per hour for requests requiring over 30 minutes of staff time.
There are no fees for MUSC departmental service requests.
Turnaround on the completion of service requests depends on staff availability, volume of queued requests, and the size of your request. To submit a service request, please complete the form below. A Waring staff member will respond to your request within 48 hours during normal business hours with an estimate of the cost of the service(s) requested.
