In early November 2020, the President’s Council of the MUSC decided to move forward with the Bicentennial Planning Committee’s recommendations for Bicentennial Commemoration activities with a few minor changes. The plan began with the creation of a Steering Committee which will oversee the work of various subcommittees tasked with developing detailed initiatives and carrying them out.
Members of the Steering Committee represent various sectors of the MUSC Enterprise and have developed guiding principles, committee and subcommittee structure, initiative descriptions, as well as a framework for moving forward with recognition of the Bicentennial, linked here.
