EndNote Desktop vs EndNote Online
To maximum EndNote's potential, use EndNote in both its Desktop and Online forms. Here are a few things to remember:
- EndNote Desktop has more features than EndNote Online (e.g., additional journal styles, attach PDFs with click of a button)
- EndNote Desktop software license is provided to all MUSC affiliates with Net IDs (updates will cease after graduation)
- EndNote Online can serve as a backup to your Desktop version if you sync them
- EndNote Online can be accessed from any browser anywhere in the world
- With EndNote Online, groups can be created and shared
