Covidence is a systematic review management tool designed to make the systematic review process easier and more efficient. Use Covidence for title/abstract screening, full-text screening, quality assessment, and data extraction.
Covidence allows for seamless collaboration for the entire review team, keeps your data secure in one place, and saves an average of 71 hours per review. In 2015, Covidence was selected by Cochrane to become the standard production platform for Cochrane Reviews.
Creating a Covidence Account
You can create a personal account in Covidence using your current MUSC email address.
If you have never used Covidence before: visit the MUSC Covidence sign-up page and enter your first name and MUSC email address. You will receive an email inviting you to Covidence. Follow the link in the email and click on "Create an Account".
If you already have a Covidence account: you can link your account with MUSC's institutional account to create unlimited free reviews. Visit the MUSC Covidence sign-up page, enter your first name and MUSC email address. You will receive an email inviting you to Covidence. Follow the link in the email and signin to your Covidence account. Note - if your Covidence account was not made with your MUSC email address originally, you will not be able to link your account to our institutional access.
After you have an account linked to our institutional subscription, you can access Covidence directly to sign in.
