Evidence-based Practice for Dietetic Interns

Please complete the following tasks after your Critically Appraised Topic (CAT) lecture with Amanda Davis & Rena Lubker:

• 1. 1. Watch the Critically Appraised Topic (CAT) for DI Capstone video.
     2. Download and complete the following worksheets based on your PRP topic.
        1. Develop your PICO question
        2. Create your Search Strategy 
        3. Contact Rena for assistance, as needed.
     3. Search at least two databases for primary literature on your topic. 
     4. Identify five articles related to your PRP topic. The higher the level of literature, the better!
     5. Download and complete the Critically Appraised Topic (CAT) worksheet. Amanda will be available to meet one-on-one for CAT consultations for more in-depth reviews, as needed.
