In 2018, MUSC’s Office of Humanities launched a “Monster Read” initiative to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein. The success of that program led us to host another “common read” in collaboration with MUSC Libraries.
This year, we invite you to join us for “MUSC Reads” Dreamland: The True Tale of America’s Opiate Epidemic by Sam Quinones. This award-winning nonfiction book is relevant to all health care professions and to the community members with whom we partner. This LibGuide provides an overview of the initiative and resources for you and your reading group. Thank you for joining us!
