The library is closed for most state and federal holidays.

Researchers should contact the Waring's Curator, Brian Fors, and complete the Submit a Reference Request form to schedule a time to view materials. Tours of the Waring and Macaulay Museum of Dental History are currently on hold.
The Waring adheres to current CDC and MUSC guidelines. Anyone who has been fully vaccinated will not be required to wear a mask, while those who have not been fully vaccinated will need to be masked in the building.

There is no available parking at the Waring. Street parking is available at metered spots along Ashley Avenue and Bee Street. The nearest parking garage is the Rutledge Tower parking garage, with entrances on Rutledge and Ashley Avenues.
Walking from the Rutledge Tower garage, proceed north (with traffic) on Ashley Avenue, past the entrance to the MUSC Horseshoe.
