Moodle and Journal Club (sharing articles)

In order to be compliant with copyright law, one should link to articles and book chapters in emails or from within Moodle/Blackboard or on websites, rather than posting PDFs. Below are instructions for finding a URL that will remain stable and lead users through the proxy server when on-compus or off-campus (where they can enter their NetID to obtain full-text).

Method 1: Using the "Find it at MUSC" citation linker page from any library database.

Method 2: Document Object Identifier Number (DOI).

For DOI: Paste the DOI to the end of this URL: http://www.library.musc.edu/360link/?doi=

  • DOI: 10.1097/INF.0b013e31815e4122
  • The resulting URL will look like this: http://www.library.musc.edu/360link/?doi=10.1097/INF.0b013e31815e4122
