Borrowing Mobile Devices and Laptops
The Library's Tech Equipment Lending service allows students, staff and faculty to borrow tablets, laptops, cameras, and more! Each tablet has a variety of clinical and productivity apps installed on them. Many of the productivity apps are paid apps so you can "try before you buy" for your own device.

Connecting Your Device with MUSC Services
- Configure MUSC email on a mobile deviceInstructions from Information Solutions. Contact the IS Help Desk for assistance: (843)792-9700.
- EPIC EHR mobile appsTo install Epic on your mobile device, call the Epic Help Desk at (843) 792-EPIC (3742) or submit a request through the knowledge base. Epic can be accessed through the Haiku, Canto or Limerick mobile apps.
- MDM Mobile Device ManagmentRequired for everyone that receives MUSC email from a smartphone or tablet. MDM has many features but the impact to you is that a 4 digit passcode and auto-lock timeout will be required to protect access.
- MUSC 2 Factor AuthenticationRequired for everyone that accesses MUSC email or applications from an off-campus computer. The impact to you is that your phone will ring when you attempt to access Outlook Web Access (OWA) email, webapps or VPN and you will need to accept the call by pressing the # sign. This prevents non-authorized off-campus persons from accessing our data.
